Penny Street, thanks for the comment, but I'm in Oakland, CA. And yes, people can be weird about picture taking here also.

Note; It's not illegal to take pictures of people's houses, it is illegal though if you can see 'inside' the house (ie: through windows).

You're lucky to have such pleasant neighbors. I had a man this past weekend come out and tell me that it's against the law to take pictures of other people's houses. Maybe I should move to Oklahoma.

Thanks all so very much for the kind comments. I noticed this on a neighbor's house a couple weeks ago & told her I was going to take a pic. She wanted me to wait till she painted so it would look nicer. I really don't know if she got around to it, but I needed my shot. Looks OK to me. I think I'll have it printed & framed for her & husband (it's their first house).
