Thank you all. Actually Pete you got it in one. We were sitting waiting for the waiter and I saw this. Had to pull out my little camera and take a picture. BTW when the waiter did come he was the funniest waiter we've ever had. We were laughing throughout the entire meal. And as a bonus we met the folks at the next table and the young man ended up being our guide in Siena for a day. It was a wonderful evening and visit to Italy.

Ann - those are some of the most beautiful shadows I've ever seen - almost surreal. If you just look at the top one, the shadow patterns make the ceiling look like a tent with the light hanging in the middle - weird! :-) CJ
