It looks like a shadow to me & the water looks great. Not so keen on the square crop though.

Brent's won't go to pending, he said it was back-lit. Yours seems side-lit (judging from the light hitting the white pole) so it seems it's a shadow not a reflection.

Thanks Aam but if Brent's Great Blue Heron had to go to pending because of the shadow being a reflection, then this may have to go there too. :-( CJ
