Thanks, Rod and Doug. I'm still torn between keeping the background stuff or cropping it off.

The perfect colors were the first thing I thought about this picture Mary Anne. Most excellent work. -COAmature

Wot an excellent picy wiv great composition, geez I really like this well done Mary Anne. I think the ball would have worked better if it wasn't so bright white. With the pool empty the picy would take on a more surreal look & maybe work a bit better. Still luv it though.

Hey, thanks for the comments! Tommy, I appreciate what you're saying about the background stuff, but I intentionally included it because the same bright green shade was repeated there. You should have seen me crawling around on my hands and knees as I tried to catch the BH sun's reflection while not losing the ball and float, which kept drifting around the pool. However, I'll take another look at just the goggles themselves. I always have such a tough time making up my mind. (Sometimes almost as bad as Rod about moving shots to Pending.)

Very cool.

This starts out wonderfully at the bottom but the upper edge detail is distracting. I see it as a much stronger with an empty pool - cropping out the top edge and riff-raff in the water. -tv

Very nice and I like the green and the blues.

Yes, this is very rich and vibrant and I really like the angles here Mary Anne- great job with the comp. The green in the mask really catches your eye and the water drops look neat too. Nice work!
