Yvonne, not a problem. We always like to learn new things :-) Keep up the good work! Not sure which sites you are learning from, But check out this channel on YouTube:http://www.youtube.com/user/tutvid. This guys seems to explain things nicely. There are other sites too with videos and step by step instructions.

Wow! Thanks Cat for the kind words of encouragement. I love black and white, but I am really struggling with my use of Adobe photo shop. I tried reading what you all have done for pp and I followed some on-line tutorials about curves and channels etc. I worked on a couple shots this one included and after I posted it here, I thought all of the other photos were way better. I am in need of help friends with easier, better, ways to get the nice contrasts you all are getting. But, I did like this landscape at least till it lined up in this gallery. You all are doign really nice work. I hopefully will catch up. Yvonne
