Nicely done Penny - interesting architecture with great tones and I like the graceful lines of that tree! :-) CJ

Very good! Penny, I like this!! The contrast is excellently build there. and it spans a broad range of zones.

Yes Penny, Ansel did do cities. He did many varied shots you will see if you go to the back pages of a google search for his images. Rod made a good point that many of them could be commissioned images he did that aren't all that brilliant, but some are I think. Don't forget you have a waterfront and parks right there in the city too as well as flowers and other vegetation....

thanks. I will play with this some more tonight. I need practice with burning anyway so this will be good for me. Unfortunately it was a pretty bright afternoon and no, Brent, everything was bland so far as colors, so this wound up being one of a few I could pick from. Oh well. I'll keep at it though.
Did Ansel do cities? I'm not really planning any more travels right now.

See being like Ansel isn't that hard isit:-) Nicely done Penny. To get it a bit more Ansely I think you could burn in the shadow under the tree some more.

Okay so the "British" hid in "German" town and I'm wondering how the Americans won the war if they couldn't even get through that door ;-) Looks like an interesting historical site to me. I think this works for zones Penny In that you have your true black and white but for me I wish there were more zones readily apparent in between. I'm thinking the setting might be tough to attain that unless there are some varied colors that could possibly be moved around with channel sliders?
