I like the clouds and, I think, the relection wouldn't look right without them.

I don't think there is any detail to be found in those clouds. I might entertain just removing them. -COAmature

This one too is very nicely processed! You surely have covered all zones here. I did't try it but I think the coulds may not offer much towards texture as such..

I'm not so sure about doing wot I said to the clouds now Doug as I downloaded it & playing with the clouds showed them to be not so good for playing with. In the end I just passed the burn tool across the top of the picy to darken the top of the sky which look "very zonal):-) Anyhow have a play but you might have it just right as presented here.

Very nicely done Doug wiv a great composition which leads our eyes through the picy. Just one thing to make this picy awesome for me is to just dodge & burn the clouds. They look a little insignificant in this setting being too pale so maybe lighten the light parts & darken the darker parts but don't overdo it as they need to still have a natural look. Well done mate.
