Look Aamm your photography has to please us not you so don't be selfish & convert this to B&W so we will be happy................................It does look great in B&W...I've seen it:-)
aam1234 19-Jul-2008 06:42
If you push it any further I will cry. You don't want that, do you :)
aam1234 19-Jul-2008 06:32
You are not making it any easier guys (Penny and Rod). The guilt is killing me now. But I'm really not too hot about B&W :(
Rod 19-Jul-2008 04:37
Funny I did the same thing Penny & I also thought it looked very good. Our Aamm seems to want to deny that's it's B&W picys that made Photography into an art form. I don't know of any famous colour picys, all the great names seemed to be B&W photographers.

so I'm probably not the one to say, but I tried this in b/w and think it looks quite good. The placement of the sun does a great job layering the tones of the sky. some allegies are the kind you can grow out of. Penny Street

Thanks, Mary Anne. I did try it in B&W but wasn't too thrilled about the result. It could be due to my allergy ;)

I think you'll really be pleasantly surprised when you see this in b & w, Aam. I'd also try sharpening the bricks a bit.

Thanks, Doug, appreciate the comment. Cat, that's a good idea, and will try it now. Thanks, Gents.

Very well done Aam! This works mighty fine so long as the topic is concerned. Colors have the same zones as the B/W. But I think we all want to see the potential it has got to make a charming B/W based on the zone system. So you can make one and put it in pending just for us to see. You can delete it later of you want :-)

I'm with you on the color Aam. This picture isn't beaming with vibrant color so it's close enough to fit the topic but... -COAmature

Thanks, Brent. I guess I could try.

Come on Aam, jump in to B+W as that's all this needs. You don't see me posting B+W much in other challenges, but I'm happy to do it here. You can do it mate!

I'm allergic to B&W, mate. It's a medical condition, look it up (he he).
Rod 18-Jul-2008 12:36
Ansel would hate it cos it's in colour. Get wiv the zone & create some tones mate.
