George Baker

Born May 22, 1915, in Lowell, Massachusetts. Moved to Hollywood in 1937 to work for Disney. Inducted in the army in 1941. Drew for Yank magazine.

That wonderful ink portrait of Baker was drawn by Gregor Duncan, who was killed at Anzio in 1944. He was quite a wonderful cartoonist and illustrator in his own right.
