Turkey Vulture - Bird of the Day

We participated in the local hawk watch again today and counted over 2700 Turkey Vultures in five hours. Other migrants raptors included Bald Eagle, Osprey, Red-tailed, Cooper's and Sharp-Shinned Hawks, American Kestrel and Merlin in much much smaller numbers.
