A White-tailed Deer munches on whatever she can find in the side yard this afternoon. I'm surprised these guys don't fly south for the winter! Imagine scrounging for food in this weather.

Amazing they find enough to eat, but times can be very tough for mammals in this season. What a lovely shot, and as David says, a sympathetic one. V
