Yesterday, while we were in back by our little wetland area, I heard an Ovenbird sing. I thought it was neat and that it was probably just passing through. Today when I took a stroll back with my camera, I heard a alert call and spotted the Ovenbird. It jumped up from the ground, so it's quite possible it is nesting here. A welcome surprise! I managed one shot before it hopped up further and then I left so not to disturb it.
