01/28/2025 - 3T7A3101.jpg

A large flock of American Robins (50?) visited around 4:30 this afternoon. They were eating the old crab apples and the remaining Washington Hawthorn berries. This is probably the same over-wintering flock we saw a few weeks ago.

Wonderful to catch a bunch of robins so close together. Here, they rush through the yard and scatter (no tree like that one...)

Terrific shot - they look like Christmas ornaments (the robins and the apples both) !

What a cool sight. Good that there is food left for them.

Such a colorful group in the drab, leafless tree.
