Extra cold here the last couple of days, but the water is still flowing in my waterfall/stream/pond with the help of a 250-watt heater. A big flock of over-wintering American Robins visited it a few days ago when it was less frozen over.

It must be a welcomed relief for the wildlife visiting.

My birdbath (with a 250W heater) kept tripping our GFI breaker - had to pull it!

Nice that you have the heater so they have access to water.

Amazing to see water still flowing in that weather!

Very cold here too recently. The robins and other wildlife will thank you for the open water which is harder to find in the deep freeze. V
