This little Black-capped Chickadee was all fluffed up under the window,
trying to stay warm and more importantly, trying to avoid the three hawks
I saw looking for a snack today.

It almost looks like it's wearing a fur coat. A cold winter, a trial for such a little bird.

He's so tiny looking here. Sad to think of the the Hawks hunting him but they have to survive too.

Poor little guy, he really does look very fluffed up. I too hope he evaded the hawks, yet... they have to eat too. It is such a conundrum. Why couldn't they be seed eaters! V

Plucky little fellow, hope he avoided the hawks.
