What I like is that the three reflections are decreasing in size just a bit as we go from left to right. Each ball (or whatever they are) has a different pattern. Maybe the one on our left does almost have too simple of a pattern compared to the others, but that's just the way it was, the way I see it. I guess I would also be tempted to crop a bit off of the bottom too, just to see how it looks. I might, then, return to the original, but I know I'd be tempted to try that if I was playing with it.
The interaction of the patterns on the balls with the pattern in the table-top, and the way the light flecks in the surface meld with the reflection from the ball (particularly the one on our left) in the shadow/reflection area is neat. It makes you work to try to see where one leaves off and the other begins. Jim H.
I like how you cropped and composed this shot, Lydia, but I too am distracted by the random texture/detail in the middle and right spheres, compared to the sharp design on the left sphere. - angioman
Reflections of ornate goblets on granite maybe? Not sure what they are so, nice abstract Lydia! I like the detail in the far left object and its reflection too but the others seem a bit too indistinct. Maybe a bit too much space at the bottom? I'd be interested in hearing other's opinions. CJ
