My Bedroom Buddha (2)

...actually, this is a fountain with water gurgling all night from the Lotus flower held by the Buddha. It is about 10 inches tall and is a recent, wild-why-the-hell-not-acquisition. Since this was shot on a tripod, iso 100, I'm wondering why it is not as sharp as it could be.....hummmm

I have a hard time choosing between these two. While the other one does have a better mysterious quality to it, I am glad to see this one because I like seeing the entire piece and knowing more about it. I'm going to need to look at them both more to decide which one I prefer. Jim H.

Although I can see more of the fountain in this one Trav, I like the mystery of the other one as I couldn't see the size and it made me think it was a big statue! Nice low key image though! :-) CJ

Very nice, Trav! I like this one the best of the two and I am not sure why. Maybe because the Buddha is just a bit lighter in this one and so easier to see. As for why it isn't a sharp as you think it should be, although it looks fine to me, if it were me it would be because I forgot to turn off the IS when I put it on the tripod. I do it all the time, I don't know why they can't just make IS that knows when it is on a tripod and just shuts itself off! ~Sharon
