Joke Debi, that was the reason for the ............. afterwards. Although I have managed 1/3s @ 200mm with the 70-200L IS and produced a reasonable result. :) ~mcbit

handheld for 27 seconds - wow - i would consider 1 sec a good one and get it right may be once in a dozen shots - Debi

Thanks for the comment Bob but this was handheld...........

Actually I find in still weather conditions increasing the length of the exposure lessens the effect of mirror shake etc. and I also use a remote release.

Nice crisp exposure for 27 sec..... excellent detail and good composition. You must have a stable tripod or convenient leaning post?
