Cool shot! Glad to hear you weren't mugged by any passer-bys. I like this because it's a night shot and the 3 main subjects are lit up pretty nicely. Too bad you couldn't coax the police officers and the drunk to "move a little to the right". That would have been a perfect shot. Hard to tell but it looks as if the car ended up on the other side of a tree... If so the driver is also SOOOOooooo Lucky!

So I'm heading North on the 101/Hollywood freeway, planning to get off at Hollywood Blvd...but, at Western and Santa Monica Blvd Exit Southbound...I see this car head off the freeway and up the embankment.... I get off, circle around thinking I may help someone hurt...but the police were on this in an instant and he was only drunk...so I went up on Western Ave, the freeway overpass, parked illegally and got out the camera.... But, Lordy, this seemed this hot night to be a very, very unsafe neighborhood...lots of walking people, men actually, some with shirts, some without, all with tatoo's....staring at me in my white shit, dark pinstripe slacks and penny loafers...a real cultural clash. But what the hell, the worse they could do to me is kill me...and me them, so there was, I hope, a moment of respectful recognition of our respective positions, but it was oddly busy with people walking...not that normal in LA, or, I'm not use to that area. So that's all, nothing big, I saw an opportunity to...either take a picture or do some good... Best Wishes, Traveller

I wonder if I know that Chipper, but then again, Traveller roams mostly in the southern part of the state, so I don't think so. [For the non-Californians: California Highway Patrol = CHP = Chipper].
