Thank you very much for the comments and compliments, much appreciated. I had the camera on AV to get the plane and some background (especially for after take off) but that meant it was hit and miss for the shutter speed. Most shots were 1/250s which was too fast for a full arc, but fortunately the skidmarks came along and seems have darkened the scene and gave me 1/125s for the arc, as well as the skid lines, a double bonus! Mary Anne, I do tell a few people I was leaning out of the window, just to see the reaction, but eventually own up to being safely seated. -Regards Najinsky
Very nice shot, Najinsky! The angle makes it look almost as if you're hanging off the side of the plane. (Actually, I thought you were till I spotted what look like reflections in the window.)

interesting angle of the runway to the ground, and of course the propellers create that wonderful arc, and the colors (did I mention colors) what a great shot!
