LOL, Victor. Thanks! :)

Naj, thank you, but the sprawled hair was completely 'her'. I was balancing on my cushy bed... standing...trying to balance the tripod half on the frame and half off...while holding completely still... stretching to see in the viewfinder and still focus... So, when she was down there and her hair was bunched up, I said something like "reshake your hair to spread it out" as I balanced. This is what she came up with. I clicked and so it is. *grin*

Thank YOU, Lonnit, d, Melanie, and Penny! I like this one of her. ~Lydia

I think if she were missing looking at the camera be several inches to several feet she'd look more dead than she does here. Corpses don't usually engage people like that. I can't decide which orientation I prefer. I suspect that I'd prefer the landscape one if it were the same size. -- Victor

Wonderful picture, Lydia. I really like the post processing. dtallakson

Somehow the rotation make her look farther away (might be the lighting). I like the original better, I think. Either way she looks anything but dead to me.

My family has looked at it and says it looks like she's dead. I think her eyes and slight smile are wonderful. How about if I rotate it:

Thanks, Brent. I fixed the typo... I use the numbers keypad and hit the 0 instead of the 1. ~Lydia

Great image Lydia, I really like what you have done with the processing here. If she does that all the time she must have masochistic tendies as it doesn't look very comfortable to me ;-) I like it.
Did something not post right with the date which displays a little early for the challenge? If so, please correct it before voting starts :-)

My daughter lies around like this quite often. I've often said that I need to take her photo doing that... so last night, we did. I think she's weird. I wonder where she gets that from... *grin* ~Lydia
