This is a hand operated small rock crusher. The hand wheel at left turns the crank and the center section (just under the name) is on a cam that moves the "jaw" back and forth to crush the rock. The "mouth" is just this side of the oiler cap. Thanks for asking, Kelly. Cheers, -mikey
