Ok, same tractor only i gave it the HDR treatment. Total HDR noob. its real cool. Im gonna delete the orig. , as its in the pending gallery. 9 shots, low as my tri would go, remote shutter release. Dynamic Photo HDR software. oh, and the size should be right:)

Canon EOS 40D ,Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
17mm,ISO 100
remote, manfrotto tripod full exif

yeah, i tried to to get as close to the Og comp. but it was hard w/ the tripod to get low enough. Nico, im glad you made your suggestion, im not sure if i ever would have tried HDR if you had not.

You know, Tony, I still prefer that very original "real" version. I feel kind-a guilty saying this since maybe it is all my doing that you went the HDR route here, so the comment is made with some "fear and trepidation" :-) But I had had to pick the one to vote for, it would be the former. It is not only the post-processing though, the composition of the earlier post also appeals to me a lot more. Hope the comments are taking in the right spirit. Enjoy the HDR though... I also love it to bits! Regards Nico

This has quite a surreal look to it. I think I like it better than the original, but I'm not sure. I'll have to look at it a bit more. I'm usually too lazy to set up a tripod and take multiple shots for HDR. I will make 2 or 3 exposures from the same RAW file and combine them, but that doesn't give a true HDR. Good job!
