Thanks Lydia, Kelly and Lonnit!
Lonnit, Lydia already gave one of the reasons for the keeping that empty black space on the top. Couple of others are... 1) that small weak wifff of a cloud reduced almost to nothing at the top near the edge almost moving out the frame I think makes a nice contrast to the giant bully "I'm here to stay" cloud. As if the lil one is running away scared :) 2) The other reason being that the black landscape at the bottom needed some black at the top to compensate and "contain" the cloud from both sides. I think the amount of black may be reduced, but I did not want to loose the scared baby cloud at the top.
Hope this helps...

I like the amount of dark at the top... it makes it seem that the clouds are pressing downward as we look. Just my opinion, of course. ~Lydia

That's "partly"?!!! LOL! Looks pretty aggressively cloudy to me. ;) Nicely done. I'm not sure about including so much dark at the top. ??? ~ Lonnit
