Why thank you Nico - what a nice compliment! Coming from someone as talented as you makes it especially meaningful! :-) CJ

Super contribution... I like your style of composing a lot. So elegant and beautiful.

Thanks Techo and aussiedawg and thanks for the suggestion Michael - I did a little burning but I must say I'm not the best PPer, even at something as simple as "burning"! Hope it looks a little better. :-) CJ

Super idea and framing. I really like the feel of the thermos leaning. Perhaps you should adopt Cindy's tale to accompany the image. Very nice DOF for a lovely background blur. I'd suggest trying a slight bit of burning to the upper edge and top left corner to add a bit more depth...might be beneficial, might not, you'd have to decide. -Michael

Nice image. I think also illustrates just how rugged and long lasting those Stanleys can be.

Grea shot CJ. Faithful companion indeed. The setting for the shot is perfect. PC geeks also need one of those... I happen to make a cup of tea , then the calls come in. By the time I get back it's gone cold.

Cindy, that's one scary store. Glad he made it out ok.

Thanks Kiki and Lydia! And you're right Cindy - I'll have to remember where I put that hammer as the poor thermos looks like it's taken quite a beating! :-D CJ

LOL CJ - you know, hammers don't cost that much . . .you don't HAVE to use your Stanley Thermos for remodeling, although they do work pretty well for demolition ;) Cindy

Hah.. I thought it was a.. a.. landmine! j/k ;) Nice thermos, like the angles here and how it leans. And that surface finish is very nice. Reminds me of childhoods easter vacations.

Thanks Cindy! Funny/scary story about your brother-in-law, made me LOL and at the same time feel a sense of relief that the only thing that happened to him was a nasty cut on the derriere! I seem to be using this thermos a lot lately while remodeling a house with no kitchen facilities yet! :-D CJ

love it - the faithful companion . . . although my brother-in-law got a nasty cut on his buttcheek from one of these - when it smashed through the back window of the pickup he was riding in during a rollover just as he was unbuckling to jump out, before the vehicle plunged down a cliff - he flew up and rammed his rear-end into the hole in the window created by the thermos! However he successfully escaped and did find his thermos and had a cup of coffee waiting for rescue (although I don't think he drank it sitting down) :) Cindy
