Aha...I couldn't capture the steam very well in my photos. Using smoke was a clever and simple solution. dtallakson

One day when I am a real photographer, I would like to be able to do stuff like this. You remain on of my inspirations.

Thanks AussieDawg, Sam, CJ, Jim, Michael!!
Sam, hope they are good genies, for I can ask for some wishes then ;-)
CJ, anything that can produce smoke, from Ciggs to incense. But remember smoke leaves a nasty smell which is hard to get rid off.

This is beautiful. I love the steam and the toning works so well :) Jim H.

Lovely Cat! Tones and lighting look really nice! What do you use for your steam/smoke effect? CJ

Cat, if I were you, I would worry about Genie's lurking in my pots! Nice capture. Sam Attal

Smoke or steam, either way, I really like this. --AussieDawg

Thanks Kelly, Vikas and Bob!!
Kelly, smoke "behaves" better than steam, and persists longer in the air. I didn't have much success with steam.

Very Cool Cat, love the smoke rising from the pot.... Vikas.

Nicely done Cat, although I wonder if in fact that's steam rising from the pot or if it is possibly smoke.

I've been thinking about how intriguing steam looks under varying conditions - kind of a subset of the current challenge. - Kelly
