Thank you all for looking and commenting. I appreciate your feedback.
Lonnit, this the same one which made it to #5 on explore at flickr. I boosted the contrast even more for this challenge, thats all.
Kay, No polarizer used for this one. Here in Atlanta, we get good/clean skies but not as blue as you are thinking. I did some PP on this, which brought the colors out from original capture.
RK, And which league might that be? I'm just having to struggle to get as good as some here in these challenges. And I think I have a long way to go...
Bob, It appears that you have been taking writing lessons from Traveller. I'm no genius :) if few adjustment layers is all one has to do to become a genius then I would say, you'll find that all of us are geniuses here, LOL.

I saw this last night (about 3:00 am) and spent some time studying it but needed to flop into the cot, so that is the reason for my late comment.

I love the dramatic cloud formation and you have done well keeping those highlights from blowing out... fantastic work.

I moved the picker over it and could not quite find 255 255 255? and likewise at the other end of the range, no 0,0,0.

I have just decided that you are a genius Cat... ( I did suspect it before.. but now I have some proof...lol) ~ Regards Melbob

Cat, you have moved on to another league. This is really well done. Congrats. - RK

I love the colors in this. Were you using a polarizer or something to get the blue sky? We can get a similar blue here in Las Vegas, but you need to be shooting toward the north, at just the right time of late afternoon/early evening. Where was this shot? ...Kay
