I really like this, Nico! The way the paper has been wrapped is very neat and makes for an almost abstract feel to the image. Good lighting, too! ~Sharon

Thanks so much for all the nice comments. Really appreciated! :-)

Jim H2: No, this is one of the younger Conradie family members, but his participation was conditional upon anonimity being guaranteed! :-) :-) Regards jnconradie

Too funny! You are made for this challenge, Nico. Is this the same person in the newspaper dress? Jim H2

Reminds me of "The Mummy" - very funny and well done! CJ

Okay, Nico, are you gonna feel bad if your photos come in first and second?

Great one Nico,

Very similar to one I've had in mind but havent executed yet, my model is out of town :-)

Cheers, Vikas.

Thanks, Melbob, Traveller and Lee - and excellent suggestions, Lee. Definitely something we could have explored! :-) Regards jnconradie

I love the idea, but I think you should have taken it further. It is hard to really tell that it is a person with such a close crop. I might have explored putting the paper person in ordinary situations. Maybe sitting at the breakfast table having a cup of tea, etc.

I really love it an it is very well executed.

Very nice, Nico...the tilt of the head, the total body wrapping into helplessness(?)....very evocative. Best Wishes, Traveller

I always thought a 'paper boy' ..... sold papers... ? Just goes to show...?

This reminds me of many years ago when my students wrapped up my car in paper towel as a birthday present for me. Amazing, could not see a tiny spec of the jaguar.

Hope your model is still breathing Nico... the sacrifices they make are incredible.

Great colours, good mood lighting... the eyes are a bit pale though?
~ Regards Melbob
