That pretty much reflects the way I felt about those photos. Those belonged to my father who passed away very recently and I inherited a veritable mountain of pictures, these contained people and places I didn't know. Sadly there are lots more. :-(
I also have the same feelings when I see old photos. I've even been tempted to buy old photo albums at strangers' yard sales simply because I don't want to see those pictures thrown away.

this and the next image are so emotive - I have boxes of old photos - the majority of which were handed down and I don't even know who most of the people in them are. Yet I feel they are somebody's memories even if not mine . . . can't really throw them away - so there they sit, in a box out in the shed.
The extremely limited DOF adds to the message - well done. Cindy
