This came out great. The lovely blues and purples reflected by the stones and the water really do compliment the fiery sunset. And the way things are arranged in the frame is outstanding. Stunning to say the least. Jim H.

Thanks for the kind words guys. When I saw the opportunity I originally tried for a warm orange glow reflecting off shadowy stones, but couldn't get enough reflection so decided to go for the contrast and more detail. Very pleased with the result. Regards - Najinsky.

I'll tell you why I think that this works so well, Naj...the deep purple foreground is nicely proportioned against the equally eye attracting sunset. It is the balance of these two elements that make it effective.

Of course it is also a beautiful image....lol
