I may be a mediocre photographer, Jim H2; but I sure am a lousy critic! I do not feel at ease evaluating other people’s images; I feel unsure when trying to analyze and assess pictures taken by someone else. Though used to expressing my opinion in public writing—I am a retired journalist—I usually do hesitate when «the question» is «to comment or not to comment?» (except when really struck by a shot). Some of our co-challengers consider this to be a cowardly attitude; in their opinion if you enter photographs here in the Challenges and, then, enjoy (as I really do!) reading critiques on your own images, the very least thing one should be able to expect from you is that you write comments yourself as well. I wholeheartedly hope nobody ever feels offended by my not corresponding in that way (for the reasons explained above). And even less so you, Jim, writing so often very interesting and unfailingly friendly comments, always appreciated! — db.

Your welcome, db. Give me your opinion of my entry in this gallery- The Grove House. Been a little busy this past week so I only have one so far. I know you'll be honest with your comments and I can always use good advice.
