The Road

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

Next time I'll be taking the more travelled road.

Yes, this is a park where I sometimes go to hike. Farther back on the trails there is a sign similar to this one except half of it is missing and the other have is severely faded. It can induce a moment of panic if you didn't bring your paper map with you. I used this one because the imagery is better and I find the large red "YOU ARE HERE" to be comforting. :-)

Fully agreed. A really different kind of photograph for the "two roads diverged..." theme. I presume this is sign post in some park / forest / trail somewhere in your neck of the woods, so to speak? Great stuff. Regards jnconradie

Interesting take. I think if asked to photograph something for this I would (sadly) have searched for a crossroads somewhere in the boondocks. To me this is quite original.
