Yep, works for me, Traveller. A nice modern/urban interpretation of that theme. (I am sure "walking through shadow" meant something different way back then, but in our day and age, this is pretty much exacly it!)
Exposure is just right, in my opinion, to have sufficient light and dark regions to make the point. No suggestions for improvement come to mind immediately, but I will come back later on to take a second look.
