One of those instances where you spot something out of your window while driving and just have to turn around. I know its not really a cabin, but I thought it might date back to the approximate time frame of the book. I don't know for sure.
What an astounding building! Any photograph's dream to find such a place, I am sure. I like the tree and its branches framing to the right and top. I am trying to figure out the colours: are these what it really looked like? or some type of partial desaturation. The red is deep and dark and red, but everything else sort of grey/white/faded.
