Huh, you're image in pending is quite striking in its simplification of the scene. Still, I think I prefer this one. I will admit the leaning streetlamp gives me a chuckle for the reality of it. -Michael
The tilt is a bit of distraction but it's one of Galveston's famous Gaslights and I wanted to include it in the shot when I took it. I've posted a closer crop in pending, let me know what you think!

I do like the colors and shapes within this image. The bench seems almost an afterthought, which I kinda like too. I have mixed feelings about the streetlamp. I'm compulsive enough to want it to match the other vertical lines in the image but it looks as though it genuinely had a tilt which seems to add a note of whimsy. -Michael
