But I think your guess may be correct... something from the plant world at least. What a peculiar pattern. They say all of natures design has a purpose, but I'd like to know the reason behind this one! Perhaps purely decorative reasons are valid for plants as well.. flowers sure have an element of that. I think I'd tighten levels, do some noise reduction and and give it a coarse USM boost... perhaps as much as 20/70. Would give it a more 3D look. A matter of taste of course.
