Step back from this and you see one of the world's most recognized icons, the Sydney Opera House. This is a very small portion of the roof.

Well, when I say "All Aussies" I should keep in mind that Australia is a very big country. Let me amend that to "Most Aussies" and certainly those in South Eastern Australia.
Cat - If I were to step back a bit and take this picture you would have no trouble recognizing what it is.
I am not a Aussie, nor I have been there, yet! But if I go where will I find this and what is it can you tell me... is it somekind of concrete structure? -Cat

Yeppers, Julie, you're exactly right. All Aussies probably know and for any non-Aussie who've been there they should know. I've admired it since, well, a long time ago.
