I think it's a water and light fountain. Water spurts 'jump' while being lit, fibre optic fashion.

The previous version looked almost electric, but now I think it's water from an irrigation tube.. or two?

I like the previous version better (with the select colors). I don't know what this is, but I thought the the variation in color really added interest. -- Jeannie

The picture was desaturated and then the color was partly painted back. I replaced it with one version which has no color change. And yes, gravity plays the main role here. MCsaba

Hmmm. Now I'm inclined to believe this is a picture of the same subject as the next picture. This one is viewed from above the surface, however. -- Victor

I don't have a clue on this but I like it! Reminds me of pesky jumping fleas though, if they left light trails - LOL! CJ

Some kind of fire-cracker generating colored sparks, followed by color/WB shift? Just a wild guess. -Cat

Uh, if this does not violate rule #3 (composites not allowed) then I'm baffled. It seems to be composited of at least two images to me, else how else do you explain the color v. black & white? -- Victor

It's a long exposure of gravity at work. But working on what? Is it water, sparks or something else? Fabulous capture.
