Very creative shot. I like how the shadows of the pedals, on the left, give definition to shape of the mask. Who can go wrong with a composition using red and white contrasting color. Nicely lit and composed. -- LC

Great idea, Vikas, but I find the group of nine petals too ordered. I'd prefer a slightly random grouping. It's still an excellent shot!

Fantastic, Vikas. I love these petals on otherwise almost white background

Great shot and the arrangement of elements really shows off your artistic talents. A single black line pulls it all together. A Vikas WOW image! shu

Beautiful compilation of "things". Is the one rose petal on the face supposed to represent a tear or is that just my imagination going off again? :-) I have tried a few "mask shots" myself and this one most definately makes mine look amateurish.
Well, mine ARE amateurish! Markjay

Vikas, I'll repeat the comment here that I also posted in your PBase Gallery (where I saw this first):

"You make me jealous. :-) Just a few days earlier (16 Dec to be exact) I also happended to try a "masked" type shot (http://www.pbase.com/jnconradie/image/71781968 ) but now that I see yours, yours is just simply a billion times better. The contrast is superb and the red petals are pure genius. As for me... back to the drawing board! :-) Thanks for the continued inspiration."

Wonderful! The high key, desaturated face is nicely balanced with the rich saturated of the petals. -- Bruce
