Tunnel to another World

This is a beach scene in Sorrento, Victoria, Australia. There is a tunnel in the cliff face leading from one cove to another. The beach is StPaul's Beach.

Thanks for the messages. The image was taken at Sunset, hence the gret light. Julie

The lines in he rock give quite a dynamic feeling to the composition and the footprints help to set up scale and the notion that this is a passage way.
I think this works quite well...

Going down StPaul's beach Rd to the end, finding the walking track along the cliff top and turning right, a short walk will take you to a set of steps leading off to the left. This will take you to the beach in this image. If you turn left from the car park along the track, you will come to Jubilation Point, a wonderful 180 degrees vista of the coastline.

This is really nice Julie. I must have been too busy concentrating on my sailing in Sorrento because I have never seen this even though I have been there many times.. Regards, Bob

I have now added a descriptor to the image which explains the location. Hope you get back one day to visit your river cave. Julie

Fabulous. A few miles from my hometown in Guatemala, there is a river that flows toward the mountain (the mountain is several thousand feet high). When it gets to the base of the mountain, it continues, flowing into a cave that leads who knows where. I've always wondered what became of the water, the cave, and the mountain. Sometime I'll have to go back and explore, if I dare.

I'm intrigued with what we're seeing here. Is this just a breech of a sand dune or something? -- Victor
