* Preoccupied

Based on something I had seen in a mag.

Portraiture is not my forte, so any constructive feed back on this one and how "simple" is this, will be greatly appreciated.

Very nicely done, simply beautiful shot. I'm not sure if it's "simple", but the watch doesn't help that. Good Luck- Mark

Thanks Traveller, Aam, Najinsky. It was very helpful feedback.
I have removed the white streak from the nearest eye. Hopefully that should help. -Cat

This is so nice, so elegant in composition & style, and yet Victor has a point. I don't know if this bothers me or not, but it is there. Hummmm Best Wishes, Traveller

Thanks Mary Anne and Victor!
Victor your first guess is right, that's her eye lashes.

Concerning lighting, I have only one nit to pick. What is that bright spot on her closest eye? I thought that was illuminated lashes at first, but on second look, it looks more like an internal reflection reflecting light onto her iris and the white of her eye. A very slight adjustment in either eye position or light position would have fixed this. -- Victor

The entire image is wonderfully smooth, Cat, making her skin look almost like porcelain. Very nice.

Thanks Mark. I appreciate your feedback. I was going for softer shadows as it gives much more smoother skin tones.

Nicely done with very pleasing flesh tones and composition.
