Thanks! I had a hard time choosing. There are some that I prefer for some reasons and others that I prefer for others. It's hard to choose a favorite for me, really. I guess what I should have done was to look through the galleries and see which ones had gotten the most "hits".

I want to try this again this winter. I want to build a better rig for holding the camera and allowing for fine adjustments up and down to nail the focus better and perhaps a better way to adjust the position of the snowflakes too. I'd like to be able to move it back and forth and rotate it too.

Once I get to where I am over the thrill of just being able to get a picture of a snowflake, and I've got a more comfortable setup to use, I can concentrate on trying to actually get the composition of the shots to be better.

As it was, I was really just sort of struggling to get things to just "work" at all :) I need to visit my buddy with the CNC machine shop and see if we can come up with something sturdy and easy to use for this. Sort of a macro copystand kind of thing is what I've got in mind.

I need to do it before I miss out on good snow. It's already freezing here :)

Is it really March since we saw this beauty? I remember it was a great series, how did you choose this one to represent it? - Najinsky
