Guarding the City

Pretoria, South Africa

"Telkom Tower", originally known as the "John Vorster Tower",
is the tallest structure in Pretoria (198m / 650 ft),
standing prominently on a hill overlooking the City.

Thanks, Melanie. Yes, I initially processed the picture on a monitor which showed up the image darker than it actually was - and then I was quite shocked and horrified when I saw the same image on a more properly calibrated monitor and the background really did look terrible. I made some changes and re-posted. Regards ~jnconradie

Pretty colors on this building. I think I prefer the background on this (if I'm remembering things correctly) compared to the one originally posted. --Melanie
