Wonderful picture RK and I like the shallow DOF which really draws attention to the eyes. Very effective ad. CJ

Thanks Gerald and Cat.
Cat, dont wan't to sound like car salesman....this particular cat has been adopted. My kids adopted him (Orange aka. Mango) and his sister last year. I am not much of a cat person, but this twins are a blast. If you are serious about adopting...I am pretty sure there is a shelter around Atlanta. Its a pretty straight forward process...if you need more information let me know.

Thanks Traveller, Nico, Phil and Chris.
Chris - I am going to take that as a compliment. Wish I was that good with Photoshop. The effect/illusion was really created by the lens (85 1.2)...used wide open...you get some interesting results.

Very nice. It does sort of look like to me that the face is photoshoped on, but I think that is just an illusion.

I like it! You've got one of my votes in very stiff competition. Best Wishes, Traveller

Thanks Nico and Traveller.
Nico, I have lightened the text.
Traveller, took up your suggestion and reformatted the text.

Again, thanks for the wonderful feedback and criticism.

One Quibble, one niggle, one suggestion...and I do this only because I want you to do well in this challenge, maybe even win...I don't think that you need the third period in the telephone number, adoptme has seven letters, as do phone numbers, I think that the third period is not needed...IOW, 1.800.adoptme.

I know I'm a talentless pest compared to others around here...but I am genuinely trying, in my poor way, to be helpful. An outside opinion as it were. Best wishes, Traveller

I like the "1.800.." text. It is short, sharp and to the point. Perhaps a lighter shade to make it more readable, but this is only my opinion. Congrats again! Regards ~jnconradie

Thanks all. Apologize for the slow response...was on the road.
Didnt realize that the images needed text to go with it.

Ditto others comments, it's an elegant image in need of the "ad" portion of the challenge. -Michael

Another vote for the "add some appropriate text" group.
A fine, fine picture; beautifully shot and processed.

Superb photograph... I like very much how the "negative space" on the right suggests the body of the cat, without it actually being visible to any major extent. Beautiful bw treatment. Regards ~jnconradie

Me too. I like your title. You could do something like "Adopt Me" in larger letters to the top right and then "Humaine Society" of wherever you are and their address and phone number in much smaller print in lower right. Would be great. The cat is just awesome. Love the black and white. Ann

RK, fine, fine conversion....put some decent text on this, even very discrete, and this could be a champion image. Really. Just trying to be helpful. Best Wishes, Traveller
