Traveller, I hope you, or Barbara, don't mind if I answer the where question. The structure is called the Carytid Porch (porch of the maidens) and is attached to the south side of the Erechtheion Temple on the Acropolis in Greece. It dates from circa 420 BC so is a little run down, although I'd bet there is a better condition replica in Las Vegas.
I almost entered a very similar image in this contest, but Barbara has made a much better job of getting some background detail in, mine were just blown highlights. - Naj
