Hate that *

home

Apologies for airing my dirty laundry (washed of course!)... but don't you just hate that?
And that thar is yet another example of that NEW Math again... 1.0 X 65mm = 341mm ?
(We down here must be a little backward cos I gets it different? 1.0 X 65 = 65 ? ... and
that poses another question? Do socks point to the right in the Northern Hemisphere?)

Canon EOS 5D ,Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
1/500s f/5.6 at 65.0mm (35mm equivalent: 341mm) iso200 full exif

Probably a good stock concept shot. It's a fairly universal theme. Now, I thought that the dryer eats them, but apparently it's the washer! LOL! ~ Lonnit

Thanks everyone for your comments, I think you are right Jim, that must be the explanation? I have many left-handed socks (or is it left-footed?) the matching one always seems to be missing after washing! I've been house-bound for the last week so had to think of something close to home in desperation! Regards ~ Bob

I don't know why, but I like this photo a lot. Maybe because it's so natural, so honest, and so spontaneous. I don't know, I just like it --- aam1234

This is a really fun idea for a shot. That darn odd number of socks, again!

I blame this on our cats. I figure that somehow, they eat them. And then they recycle them into a bunch of hairballs :) But then we blame a lot of mysteries on the cats - they're so convenient as scapegoats for anything that turns up missing or gets broken. And when I hear spooky noises in the night - no problem, it must just be those naughty cats again! But have you ever noticed how much lint can collect in the lint trap of your dryer? Maybe it all comes from a single totally destroyed sock and not just a bit from everything. Jim H.

This is funny Bob. My washing machine must eat socks as I always seem to be missing one (of my husband's though, I never lose mine). And you know, I sometimes never do find the matching one! ;-) CJ
