A second shot of the same fern using the 5D, no sharpening or other PP
except for sizing and framing to fit size limit.
I don't know how PBase picked up the info about exposure and 35mm equivalent but that is not correct? 100mm is 100mm with the 5D???

That's weird about the 35mm equivalent. In my opinion, no camera should have the focal length converted to a 35mm equivalent. At the very least, if it is a pbase feature, it should have a toggle. I for one think that referring to 35mm equivalents is a crutch that does more harm than good. -- Victor

Another try, a little closer to the 20D shot but still not the same. The DOF is significantly shallower with the FF sensor. ~ Bob

Thanks Victor, yes I do agree, the RHS foliage does distract, I will try another shot as close to the other one to compare. ~ Regards Bob.

I think the other shot is the better one, and it has nothing to do with the camera. It's the backgound. Your composition is different here -- the background is too distracting, competing with your subject. -- Victor
