Today as I was driving home from a poker tournament, I spotted from the highway an apartment fire burning wildly. I continued to drive home to get my camera, and then proceeded to the apartment by a back way I learned as a taxi driver. I got pretty close, but the area was cordoned off by the cops. What you see here at center is a fire engine's boom spraying water into the structure. A helicopter overhead surveys the area, feebly helping me out with my lighting challenge. The moon wasn't much help either, but adds an interesting element, in my opinion.
The picture has been renamed to French Fries, because it has been determined that the fire was caused by a kitchen grease fire from a resident making French fries. He left the kitchen "just for a minute", and there was a grease fire when he returned.
