Thanks for the comments, y'all. I don't know what it was that pulled me to take this shot, but I like what came from it. This is a long abandoned gold-mining shack originally built at the turn of the century and rehabilitated several times. All exterior walls were covered with slate rock tar roofing 'paper' and it was 'insulated' and 'weatherstripped' with newsprint, eventually to be left to decompose in the '20s. -mikey
