Dreams of a Cone

Michigan

I chose this shot because of its dreamy abstract background. I brightened it and and fooled with color a bit, sharpened, and reduced a tad of noise. I smoothed the petals a little bit but I did not crop the image in anyway because I felt the background was important for the abstract! Hope you like!

I wouldn't do ANYTHING to this image.... but leave it alone! It's colors and composition make for a strking image that's very pleasing to the eye. One might have to determine if this is abstract or not but... who cares, it's just beautiful!! Markjay

Thanks for the comments!
Bill I tried the crop on the full size pic, and it just didn't grab us here. I guess I don't see abstracts quite like others it never has been a love of mine so I will just leave the entries I have in and beg out of this challenge LOL.
But will enjoy looking at others entries maybe will learn something huh? :)
Good luck everyone!

Beautiful colors here Cheryl and a very lovely image. I understand what Bill is suggesting but a crop like that would really constrict the picture I think. If there were more space around the bottom, that might work but ???? Very pretty though! :-) CJ

I'm figuring he means so there's no green guts showing, so all we see is this lovely pink skirt flowing in a gentle breeze. :) ~ Lonnit
